Tools for people whose job happens from the road, not a desk.

Fieldworks builds small, offline-first apps for drivers, tradespeople and lone workers — the kind of software that runs quietly in the background and gets the paperwork done without you thinking about it.

Every mile, logged automatically
No stopwatch. No spreadsheet. No forgotten trips.
Mile 1 — Why Fieldworks

Built by someone who does the driving too

Fieldworks started as a single mileage tracker, built to solve one person's own HMRC claim headache. It's grown into a small stable of apps for the same kind of work: lone site visits, van rounds, inspections, the jobs where your office is wherever the job is.

What that means in practice

Every Fieldworks app is built around the same three rules:

  • Offline-first. Signal drops in a van on a rural lane. The app shouldn't.
  • Automatic where it can be. If the phone can work it out, you shouldn't have to type it in.
  • Built for HMRC and UK compliance, not adapted from a US template afterwards.
Mile 2 — The apps

Currently in the field

One app is in active development and heading into closed testing. Two more are on the bench.

Want to help test TrackMile?

Closed testing opens shortly and needs a small group of UK drivers who claim mileage regularly. It's a five-minute install and a few honest notes on what works.
